Hey Y’all
This week
has been something else... Saturday we had a baptism! Sister Rodas was
baptized after 2 1/2 years of taking the missionary lessons! So that was super
exciting! Also Saturday night we spent the evening in a storm shelter haha. There were
some severe thunderstorms with a chance of "tornadic" action that
were moving towards the city rather quickly. So we went to some members
home and hung out in the shelter haha. That
was quite the adventure. But man I love the thunderstorms that they have
out here. They are unreal! The sky is just lit up with lightening
constantly! And when it was over the city the ground was shaking
because of the thunder! It was awesome! Anyhow, that was pretty much the
extent of our week.
I’ve been
thinking a lot this week about the atonement and the effect it has on
us. The atonement is something that is there for us to use and take
advantage of. It is eternal and will never run out. Which is a good thing
because we all sin daily? The Savior has given us an amazing gift that we
need to take advantage of! The best way we can show gratitude is to use
it! So use the atonement, put it to the test and allow yourselves to
change. The ability to change is such a blessing. But that all depends on us
and our desire. Hope y’all have a good week and stay safe!
Love y’all!
